My husband is a very big fan of Merrell and other day he ordered these shoes online for me. I was not sure if I will like them as per their looks but when they arrived and I wore them, I was totally surprised. They are luxuriously comfortable out of the box. They are the most comfortable shoes I have owned. I have Clarks and I always thought that nothing can beat the comfort of them, but this turned out to be way ahead of them. My husband barely wears anything other than Merrell because he says that they are very comfortable shoes and now I have experience myself. The best thing about this particular style is that it's very lightweight. I was not expecting it to be so lightweight and comfortable at the same time. Usually comfort and lightweight design do not go together but this style is totally opposite. I have this style in the eggplant and black leather colors. Both colors have phenomenal looks. The interior is very soft and it keeps my feet warm and comfortable. They are very easy to wear and the best part is that no matter how long I walk in these shoes, my feet don't hurt at all. Their size and width is accurate and they fit perfectly. The arch support is great as well and it provides excellent support. I do not wear heel at all and these shoes do have 1 inch high heel but it is still very comfortable. I would recommend these shoes if your work involves lots of standing. Nurses and teachers will love these shoes because I am a nurse and I know how stress my feet take during my shift and Encore Ice by Merrell is perfect for me. These shoes truly tell that this brand makes very comfortable shoes. I am defiantly going to but more shoes. I give these shoes 5 out of 5.
